Our top 5 spooky styling tips and tricks:

1 - Focus on one or two areas of your home

When it come to decorating your home for a party, holiday or special occasion it’s much easier and nicer to create impactful moments rather than clutter your home with loads of small items that always looks too busy, too disorganised and with no stylish thought at all.

We highly recommend to focus on one or two spaces that you will see day to day, that is a central part of your home and no less important - that your guests will appreciate it.

The places we are recommend to focus on are: your doorway, your entrance (outdoor or indoor), your hallway, your stairs, your fireplace area, your dining room or your entertaining room.

Emphasising specific and small areas can feel less visually overwhelming.

2 - Don’t rush to spend money on new decorative pieces. Use what you've got!

You can create a halloween vibe without buying new stuff for your home. To create the spooky atmosphere you can mix and match textural elements that you've already got like different sizes of candles, dried flowers, vintage pieces, brass items like a picture frame or mirror, smoky glass and even a textured table cloth. All of those items can create a spooky halloween statement.

3 - Visit your nearest supermarket

With a few pounds you can buy a few different sizes and colours of pumpkin to fit in your impact spaces in your home as mentioned in tip one. On the way you might found some cute halloween decorations that could help you to complete the look.

4 - Stick to your colour palette

Sticking to a colour platte always helps in creating a cohesive look. Whether if you like more traditional halloween colours or more modern colours, start with thinking about your colour platte - otherwise you will get lost!

5 - Get some inspiration from the outside and bring it home with you

As halloween vibe is all over the place nearer this time of the year we highly recommend firstly to have a look outside and get some inspiration from the gorgeous autumn colours that are out there at the moment and secondly, bring it home with you - pick some dried leaves or branches from outside to complete your inside look!
